The 2023 ACCC Business Excellence Awards

Back To Homepage

Greetings on behalf of the Albert County Chamber of Commerce,

The 6th annual ACCC Business Excellence Awards was held on Thursday May 11th at Holy Whale in Riverview and celebrated the fantastic businesses in Albert County.

We handed out our signature awards, provided by Glass Roots, and enjoyed a beautiful 6+ course tasting menu that highlights the culinary delicacies from one end of the county to the other. There was live local music, door prizes, and a live auction featuring the products, works, and services of Albert County Businesses. We also featured a special celebration of Albert County Artists!

Thank you to everyone who attended (all 152 of you!), sponsored, and worked behind the scenes to make this event the best yet!

– We had the most nominations we have ever had.
– Due to the increase in very thorough and wide ranging nominations, this year we also recognized the finalists in each category.
– Over 600 unique individuals voted for the People’s Choice award!

Our heartfelt thank you to Melody Land for coordinating the event! Her vision and work were crucial to the event, the concept and design. Thank you.

A special thank you to Sophia & Spritz who catered and sponsored the event. Owned by Riverview Resident James Hugh, we highly recommend them for all catering needs. They really went above and beyond, with everyone stunned by their incredible food.

Other thank yous (in no particular order):

– thanks to Micheal McBurnie, the Garden Guy, for spearheading the decor.
– thanks to Coastal Blooms for providing flowers for the winners.
