Time to get creative!
You may know that our region from Lower Coverdale to Alma is set to be amalgamated into a new area “Area 42”.
While very “Hunger Games”-ish, this title is not the best description of our community! And so we are looking for your suggestions! The name will be used on letterheads, for advertising the region, government, etc.
An example from another region — Sackville, Dorchester, Memramcook might come together under the name of Tantramar.
We’ve heard and seen some great suggestions out there, and we welcome you to indicate some suggestions here. Whether it’s based on our history, our natural beauty, or just a great name – we need your ideas!!! These will be passed to those who are involved in the amalgamation process.
Each entry will give you a ballot towards 10lbs of Fundy Lobster donated by Mike Mitchell at Collins Seafood, to be drawn April 25th on the ACTA FB page! You can enter as many times as you like with a unique name each time. Must be local or be able to pick up your prize!
