When Gordie Mackeeman steps on stage the first thing you’ll be aware of is his fabulous fiddle playing, even if his fiddle is under his arm. Then you’ll notice his legs, his crazy legs, moving in all directions, even while he fiddles non-stop. By this time everyone, young and old, will be under his youthful spell and want to dance as well.
And then when Gordie and his merry band, the Rhythm Boys start to play, you’ll never know just what they will get up to. With Peter on acoustic and electric guitar; Tom on bass, banjo, and guitar; and Jason on drums, bass, and guitar; there is no doubt they are all having fun and want you to join in.
All the Boys sing and when Gordie adds his warm, melodious, baritone to the mix, audiences are spellbound, treated to a round-up of traditional bluegrass, Western swing, and classic country.
