ACCC Business of the Year, Cyber PR Army, approved vendor for Digital Adoption program
The Canadian Digital Adoption Program is now open, offering Canadian businesses the chance to apply for funding to help them with anything and everything relating to getting online, introducing software, training staff to use it and more. Cyber PR Army helped many gain funding and implement it through the previous initiative, Digital Main Street. They are approved vendors for this new program for the Grow Your Business Online micro-grant.

Self-employed Lockdown Fund date extended in NB
The SELF program application deadline of April 30th has
passed, and general applications will no longer be accepted. ONB has extended the application period to June 15 to allow only for newer self-employed individuals or companies who have become eligible only during the 2021 year and need to complete their tax returns.
Criteria:
- Exceeded $30,000 in gross annual business income for the first time in 2021
- Are an HST registrant
- Do not employ a full-time equivalent employee
- Are in good standing with the Province of New Brunswick
Nationwide staff shortage feedback for tourism industry requested
The Canadian government has announced a new nationwide feedback request from all working in the tourism sector. TIAC will be actively participating in this consultation process and has iterated the importance of input from our local tourism businesses. They ask that a copy of your submission be forwarded to Marc Seguin, Vice-President, Policy and Government Affairs at [email protected] to enable them to act as a united voice for the industry.
The deadline for submitting feedback is 11:59 pm (ET) on July 20, 2022.
