CCGM & ACCC sign partnership agreement
The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton (CCGM) and the Albert County Chamber of Commerce (ACCC) are joining forces to work together to the benefit of both organizations following the creation and signing of an enhanced one-year working relationship pilot.
The CCGM will offer membership to ACCC members who are not already CCGM members under an ‘associate’ membership for 12 months for the 2022-2023 period at a reduced rate (in addition to any membership fees paid to the ACCC). This associate membership gives Albert County members access to full benefits in the CCGM from the date of membership.
The ACCC will also offer an ‘associate’ membership to CCGM members who are not already ACCC members for 2022-2023 at an additional reduced rate, that would also give CCGM members access to full benefits in the Albert County Chamber for a period of one year.
ISED’s Ukraine Portal – Jobs for Ukraine
As you may be aware, the Canadian government has recently launched a number of initiatives to support those displaced in the Ukrainian war. Beth Potter, President and CEO of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC), participates in regular meetings with senior officials at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), focused on small business and economic development. We have a PDF she passed on outlining the tools available to Canadians looking to support the settlement of displaced Ukrainians, including the Jobs for Ukraine portal. |
