Submission is restricted to current members or information impactful to our members (funding, government notices, business opportunities, etc.). Submissions will be included at the discretion of the ACCC editorial team.
The final date for submissions will be the Tuesday before the bulletin goes out. The next submission deadline is Tuesday, 20th September.

Farmer Brown's Greenhouse hosts free open day!

Member Farmer Brown’s Greenhouse is looking forward to their third Annual Open Farm Day, taking place this Sunday, September 18th. The event is free to attend, although there will be a wide array of vendors, and will run from 10 am to 4 pm.

Join us as you experience life on the farm!
– Pumpkin painting
– Visit with the farm animals
– Miniature straw bale maze
– Play dress up with “Party The Horse” with our friends from “Beloved Miniature Horses”
– Tour the greenhouses and check out our fall lineup
– “Build A Bear” with our friends from Brothers Bears Workshop!

– Fall-themed Harvest Market
– Face Painting from our friends at Silverfox Fairytales

Albert County Exhibition running this week

The traditional Albert County Exhibition, a tradition since 1913, is running this week, September 15-18th. The event will take place at Oulton Hall.

“We have a great program this year with the return of the Queen Pageant opening night, delicious meals from the Dining Hall on all four days, parade on Saturday, concerts Friday and Saturday night, and lots of fun for the kids, including Playmania Inflatables and Mad Science. This year, we are taking a strong focus on our roots – Agriculture. Visitors can learn how to make homemade ice cream and see newly hatched chicks on site.”

Riverview Harvest Fest running next week

Yet another community event is taking place next week in Riverview. The annual Riverview Harvest Fest will run September 16-18th. There are 11 events planned including the ever-popular Kegs & Legs 5k, organised by members Holy Whale Brewery along with a family fun day, Connect 4 tournament, disc golf, a variety show and more.

The Business Specials include several of our members too – Five Bridges Bar & Grill, Pet Valu, the Homestead Restaurant, Briggs Maples, Holy Whale Brewery and Albert County Museum. Make sure to pop in and support them.
