Next Open Board Meeting: December (date and location to be announced).

This will be our last open meeting for the year and all members are encouraged to attend. There will be opportunities to network with fellow members and participate in the meeting.

We welcome and encourage you to submit news, press releases and any other content related to your business. Submission is restricted to current members or information impactful to our members (funding, government notices, business opportunities, etc.). Submissions will be included at the discretion of the ACCC editorial team.
The final date for submissions will be the Tuesday before the bulletin goes out. The next submission deadline is Tuesday, 29th November.

Member Listings

Our members list has been expanding rapidly which is fantastic news! Our current member listing system is no longer suitable for our growing community so please bear with us whilst we upgrade to a new system. If your listing is incorrect or missing, we apologize and thank you for your patience. We will be unveiling our new system soon!

Member Spotlight: Harper's U-Pick

Harper’s U-Pick is situated in Hillsborough and is the perfect family day out. They have an array of berries and currants for you to pick to eat fresh or turn into jellies, jams and wines. You will also find their gardens and historic buildings to explore, dating back to 1852!

Light Up Riverview Returns

Light Up Riverview returns Thursday, November 24th with its light display on the Riverfront Trail and family activities.

Member business Holy Whale will be host to music by Felix Belliveau from 6:00-8:00 PM and there will be a pop-up market hosted by member Luxe Salon to find that special gift. All vendors are Riverview owned and operated businesses open 5:00-8:30 PM.

CBDC Online Workshops Announced

CBDC has announced a series of workshops to support small business owners between now and the end of the year. Workshops are up to 2 hours long and take place on Zoom. Courses are FREE but you must register to get the Zoom info. To reserve your spot, contact [email protected].

Atlantic Workplace Health & Safety Conference Needs Presenters

The Atlantic Workplace Health & Safety Conference, organized by Safety Services Nova Scotia, will be taking place March 29-31, 2023. They are looking for presenters to talk on a variety of topics from technical and legislative to health and wellness.

Presentations will be 60 minutes and must allow time for audience Q&A. The deadline to submit is Friday, November 25, 2022.

ONB Productivity Push is Bearing Fruit

ONB is seeing great results through its Productivity NB Initiative. The initiative, (launched in 2021) via ONB’s Business Growth Team, is geared toward manufacturing clients. It includes benchmarking and assessing company productivity levels on an annual basis to provide a tailored approach and guidance on their path to productivity improvement and for competing globally.
