Submissions will be included at the discretion of the ACCC editorial team.
The final date for submissions will be the Tuesday before the bulletin goes out. The next submission deadline is Tuesday, 28th March.

Member Spotlight: Mountainview Solitude Retreat

Mountainview Solitude Retreat is both a B & B and a Christian retreat run by Daphnee and Desire LeBlanc. You can stargaze through a telescope from the second-floor balcony of their historic Turner shipbuilder’s house or enjoy birdwatching amid fantastic scenery. All rooms have private bathrooms and all cleaning products are chemical-free.

Mancuso Clinic are pain specialists for long-term relief. They are an established business with clinics in Moncton and Florenceville-Bristol and have recently opened a new Riverview clinic .

Timber & Tides Mercantile is a retail business that offers forest and ocean-themed products. It is owned by Ken Kelly, who also owns Timber & Tides Suites.

Mancuso Clinic Running Free Webinar

New member, Mancuso Clinic, is running a free webinar this coming Wednesday: Office Warrior: Staying Healthy While Working at a Desk. 

Sylvain Mancuso provides practical tips for staying active at work,
such as incorporating movement breaks and setting up a workstation
ergonomically. Additionally, the webinar covers the importance of
nutrition and hydration, stress management, and taking breaks to
prioritize mental health.

$60 for 60 Years campaign at ACHS

Support ACHS with the “$60 for 60 Years” Campaign in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Albert County Museum!

As a special souvenir, the Albert County Historical Society is pleased to present this special package for purchase. Included for $60 is a custom-designed ornament crafted by NB-based Aitken Pewter, a membership to the Society which includes a 2023 season’s pass to the Museum, and an income tax receipt for $25. In the case of a family membership, the tax receipt is $15.

CCGM Annual Survey results

In an update to their Annual Survey, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton has said that the results cite difficulty finding skilled labour and social issues as 2023 key priorities. The survey was conducted in mid-December. 51% of all respondents claimed they had a shortage of skilled workers, and 47% found it difficult to recruit and retain employees. 

CBDC Announces New Partnership

The NB Association of CBDC has signed a collaboration agreement with Place aux compétences in a bid to strengthen entrepreneurial culture in our youth. 

“For several years, the CBDCs of New Brunswick and Place aux compétences have been working for entrepreneurship. We are very happy to be able to join forces to further promotes the entrepreneurial culture among young people in our province,” says Suzanne Gagnon, executive director of Place aux compétences.

Evalu8-Evolve in Forbes this month

Member business Evalu8-Evolve, headed up by Forbes Coaches Council member Sara Phelan, has been featured in Forbes magazine once again. Sara’s latest article is 15 Exercises Leaders Can Use To Foster Appreciation For Team Diversity.

Trades virtual job fair in April

Working NB are holding their next virtual job fair on April 12, for manufacturing, forestry, and construction trades. Registration is opening imminently if you would like to take part.
