We welcome and encourage you to submit news, press releases and any other content related to your business. Submission is restricted to current members or information impactful to our members (funding, government notices, business opportunities, etc.). Submissions will be included at the discretion of the ACCC editorial team.
The final date for submissions will be the Tuesday before the bulletin goes out.The next submission deadline is Tuesday, 31st January.

Member Spotlight: Luxe Salon

Luxe Salon in Riverview was opened in January 2020 by Ashley McDavid, formally the owner of Golden Beautique that offered sunless tanning & lashes and then part-owner at Hidden Beauty Studio in Moncton. Luxe offers a full range of services – hair, aesthetics, nails, waxing, lashes, spray tanning & retail.

SEED Funding deadline approaching

Working NB’s Student Emplyment Experience Development (SEED) program deadline is approaching. Applications must be in by February 17th, 2023

The SEED  program provides funding to employers to create summer job opportunities for students. The program provides eligible students with a summer job of up to 12 weeks in duration with a New Brunswick employer between April 24th and September 1st, 2023.

Internet Access Discussion with UNB & CIRA

Join UNB, January 24th at 10 am, for an online session on internet access in New Brunswick.

“Join us for a session with the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA, the .CA folks), the McKenna Institute at UNB, TechImpact, New Brunswick Business Council, and Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick as we discuss the current internet access challenges in the province, explain what our organizations are doing about it, and seek your help so we can better understand internet and inform decision makers in NB!”

What: Universal Internet Access in New Brunswick
Who: CIRA, the McKenna Institute at UNB, TechImpact, New Brunswick Business Council, and Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick
When: Tuesday January 24th, 10 am

During the session, CIRA will share insights from its IPT project on the state of New Brunswick’s internet. You can take a test ahead of our session to see how your internet speed compares with the rest of New Brunswick by clicking a few buttons at performance.cira.ca/nb.

Albert County Museum holding heritage talk

Member, Albert County Museum, will be holding an afternoon Heritage Talk to learn about Albert County’s incredible history with Albert County Museum Manager, Janet Clouston, and AC Historical Society President and published author, Dawne McLean!

“A Glimpse of Past Days” books will be available for purchase – signed by the author! The Museum’s mobile interactive exhibit will be available to check out in the Town Hall foyer from Thursday, February 9 to Saturday, February 25. They will also be on-site Saturday, February 25th for a Heritage Hunt Activity for prizes including passes to the Albert County Museum!
